Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Konstruksi Tahan Gempa Berbasis Material Lokal untuk Meningkatkan Ketahanan Permukiman Desa

Gempa bumi merupakan salah satu bencana yang berpotensi menimbulkan kerusakan bangunan dan korban jiwa, terutama pada permukiman yang dibangun tanpa menerapkan prinsip konstruksi tahan gempa. Kondisi tersebut masih dijumpai pada masyarakat pedesaan yang memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan, keterampilan teknis, serta media pembelajaran berkelanjutan mengenai teknologi konstruksi tahan gempa berbasis material lokal. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dan tukang lokal dalam menerapkan teknologi konstruksi tahan gempa sehingga mampu membangun permukiman yang lebih aman, tangguh, dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan *Participatory Rural Appraisal* (PRA) yang dipadukan dengan metode *technology demonstration* melalui tujuh tahapan, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, penyusunan modul pelatihan, penyuluhan, demonstrasi teknologi, *hands-on training*, pendampingan lapangan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Mitra sasaran terdiri atas 30 peserta yang meliputi tukang bangunan lokal, kelompok masyarakat, pemerintah desa, karang taruna, dan relawan kebencanaan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai prinsip bangunan tahan gempa, perilaku struktur, teknik sambungan, serta pemanfaatan material lokal. Keterampilan peserta juga meningkat melalui praktik pembangunan mini prototipe rumah sederhana tahan gempa sebagai media pembelajaran. Selain itu, program menghasilkan modul pelatihan yang diserahkan kepada pemerintah desa serta membentuk kader lokal sebagai agen pembelajaran untuk mendukung keberlanjutan transfer pengetahuan. Model pemberdayaan berbasis transfer teknologi yang dikembangkan terbukti mampu memperkuat kapasitas teknis, meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam mitigasi bencana berbasis komunitas, serta berpotensi direplikasi pada wilayah rawan gempa lainnya dengan karakteristik yang serupa
